It is soft, the zipper doesn't get in the way and can be hard to detect. It looks exactely like the picture if you zoom in all the way you can see the real leopard pattern. Only thing I don't like is how it can easily slide off the bed as it does have that satin appeal. Overall I would recommend to someone who needs a nice cover set who like that animal pattern as I do.
