Is there an easy way of getting the comforter straight with the duvet cover after it has been bunched up in side of it?

I have not had good luck with regular down comforters not bunching up etc. inside my coverlet, but I know that featherbed mattress toppers keep their shape much longer, so I was just wondering if it would be okay to stuff my duvet cover with a featherbed instead of the down comforter.

They have these in nice hotels because most comforters there are usually white but they have this cover that the down comforter goes in so that it won’t get dirty. Does anyone know the name of this? I am hoping to purchase on tomorrow from Bed Bath and Beyond but want to make sure I am looking for or asking for the right thing.

First of all, are the buttons on a duvet supposed to go up by your head, or by your feet?

Also, how the heck do you stop the comforter from moving around inside the duvet cover? It’s so annoying!

Ok, I have a problem!

I purchased a goose down comforter years ago… and I’m in love with it. Problem is, no dry cleaner will take it… and I’ve tried washing it once and it took forever to dry – draped over a deck in 90 degree weather. SO… I need a comforter cover that I can actually take off and wash/dry. Do these even exist?! And what in the world is a duvet cover?? Anyway, need your help! Thank you!
