I like the way down comforters feel at hotels, and would like to get one of my own… but I have never had one. Here are a few of my questions.

1. What should I look for to find a good one?
2. You would use a down comforter instead of a comforter (like the ones that come with bag bed sets) right? One of the other, but not together right?
3. Are you supposed to put a cover on a down comforter?

Any other insight would be welcomed. As I said, I have never had one, but love the way the feel and would like to get one! Thanks, and I didn’t mean for these questions to sound silly!

First of all, are the buttons on a duvet supposed to go up by your head, or by your feet?

Also, how the heck do you stop the comforter from moving around inside the duvet cover? It’s so annoying!
